NATIONAL COMPETITIVE QUOTATION NO. ME/004/2010-11/HQ/G/12 FOR PROCUREMENT OF HIGH SECURITY SAFES FOR THE GOVERNMENT ASSETS
MANAGEMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE (VOTE 50) INVITATION FOR QUOTATIONS
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in Daily News (Issue No. 0856-3812) Habari leo (Issue No.1821- 572X) of 16th August, 2010, The Guardian newspaper (Issue No. 0856-5422) and Uhuru (Issue No. 0876-3896), of 17th August, 2010. Also the GPN was advertised through MOF and PPRA Websites, www.mof.go.tz and http://www.ppra.go.tz/ respectively. The Government of
2. Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Ministry of Finance during the financial year 2010/2011. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Procurement of High Security Safes for the Ministry of Finance.
3. You are hereby invited to submit your price quotation for supplying the goods as described in the Schedule of Requirements and Technical Specifications.
4. All quotations in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes marked “Quotation No. ME/004/2010-11/HQ/G/12 for Procurement of High Security Safes for the Government Assets Management of the Ministry of Finance (Vote 50)” must be delivered to the Secretary of the Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Finance, P.O Box 9111, Dar es Salaam and deposited in the bid box at Room No. 2 of PAT Building, Madaraka Avenue / Shaaban Robert Street / Luthuli Street.
5. A complete set of Bidding Document(s) in English and additional sets may be obtained freely by interested Bidders on the submission of written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above.
6. Deadline for submission will be at 10.00 hours local time on Thursday 3rd March, 2011. Quotations will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Supplier’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the New Treasury Annex Building Conference Room of the Ministry of Finance, Madaraka Avenue/Shaaban Robert Street/Luthuli Street-Dar es Salaam.
7. Late quotations, portion of quotations, electronic quotations, quotations not received, quotations not opened at the quotation opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
